This paper compiles all of the strategies, directives, and tactics employed by the Special Activities Division. It is a useful tool and a guide that should be consulted during instruction. This document will be updated regularly until it is finished.
The strategies and techniques outlined in this document are open to the public, but the Special Activities Division has exclusive control over how these strategies are chosen and used.

Discrimination - Hate Speech
Prejudice on the basis of race, ethnicity, place of birth or origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or handicap is not acceptable, no matter how minor. This involves referring to someone as "gay," "autistic," or "retarded" in a lighthearted or disparaging way.
Spamming or any kind of advertising
Advertising, unsolicited commercial activity (including sales), sending out bulk direct messages, posting the same message across multiple channels, tagging or messaging needlessly, and disseminating random content without context can all result in bans.
Controversial Topics
The SAD should steer clear of contentious subjects like politics and religion in all of its conversations. Posting anything that you aren't sure is contentious is a bad idea. Repeat offenders will be dealt with appropriately, and discussion of such subjects will result in a warning.
Special Activities Division has a history of expanding the capabilities of its gaming systems. Using the features of the Special Activities Division's primary game, Ground Branch, several of our leaders have invented novel ways to play the game that other communities haven't adopted. We are particularly proud of the following: Comprehensive Overwatch (Clearing Map Boundaries), Indirect Fire and Close Air Support, HVT Operations, Civilian Injection (Covert Operation), and Dynamic Operational Changes (Enemy QRF, Bomb Threats, VBIED Placement, Pilot Failures, Mortar Interception, etc.). A cohesive storyline and all of these amazing opportunities made by our technically adept members combine to produce an engaging experience that piques people's interest for the long run. DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Below is a list of possible disciplinary actions that a Member and Visitors/Guests may face if they fail to follow any of the Rules & Regulations listed in this document. Staff and up may issue disciplinary action on any SAD Asset and decide on the appropriate action needed. However, only the Head Administration may approve an action that leads to removal from SAD and its assets. These disciplinary actions are not listed in any specific order of how they will be issued.
Except for Verbal Warning/Guidance, all Disciplinary Actions must be handled by the Head Administration, Internal Affairs, Administration, or Staff Offices SAD Offices. Any Member that is pulled into any of these offices or their Waiting Rooms shall remain there until spoken to by a Staff Member or above. Any Disciplinary Actions should be kept between the CaliRP Member and Staff/Administration that were in the office at the time of disciplinary action. All Disciplinary Actions will be logged by the Staff/Administration Member by using the SAD- Disciplinary Action Form.
Verbal Warning/Guidance
Written Warning
Removal from game and/or TeamSpeak Server
Removal from the SAD asset(s) for a designated period
Removal from the Reserve Department and/or Specialty Department
Recertification for department, redevelopment certification
Demotion
Complete removal from SAD and all assets
Any Disciplinary Action can be appealed by any Member or Guest/Visitor by filling out the SAD - Appeal Disciplinary Action Form. This form should be submitted within seven (7) days from when the Disciplinary Action was issued.
INACTIVITY
If a member is to become inactive from SAD for more than 7 days, a “Leave of Absence” (LOA) form must be filled out through their primary department’s LOA form.
If a member fails to meet activity requirements for 30 days the member will be demoted one rank. If the member proceeds to be inactive for 60 days without an LOA or Chain of Command notice the member is subject to removal.
The administration must provide a 48-hour notice before removal from the community.
(2) LOAs are allowed for up to 30 days. A member must get Administration approval if they require an LOA longer than 30 days.
The maximum time the Administration can grant an LOA extension is 3 months. After the 3 months have elapsed and the member has not returned, they will be removed and asked to re-apply.
(3) If a member is inactive for 30 days or longer without posting an LOA they will be removed from the SAD and asked to re-apply.
(4) Administration reserves the right to:
Remove anyone from the SAD for inactivity based on their professional judgment.
Grant extensions longer than 3 months on a case-by-case basis (emergencies or severe circumstances only).
(5) Members on LOA are prohibited from Patrol / R&T Duties, however, they may utilize Discord and the website for socializing.
UNIFORM GUIDELINES
The uniforms that our operators wear don't matter to us. However, we forbid wearing camouflage or other enemy-like attire. Most items are OK as long as they are used properly, though you are not allowed to wear anything that could be mistaken for a hostile force. Unless instructed otherwise, you will need to employ a suppressor if at all possible. Our main focus is on teamwork and skill-building, rather than outward appearances. It is important for all members to feel safe and respected in our community, which is why we have these guidelines in place. Your cooperation in following these rules will help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. Additionally, please ensure that all gear and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Remember that our ultimate goal is to create a supportive and welcoming environment for all participants.
Pronouncing and abbreviating your name should be simple. Remember that on the battlefield, we must be able to quickly and effectively grab your attention. Furthermore, it would help if you used common sense while choosing your in-game name. Inappropriate names will result in instantaneous removal from the game. Each player's in-game name should be preceded by an identifying symbol based on their rank. This will help distinguish different players and maintain order during gameplay. Additionally, please refrain from using offensive language or symbols in your in-game name to promote a positive gaming experience for all participants. Lastly, make sure your in-game name is easy to read and pronounce to avoid confusion during intense moments. By following these guidelines, we can ensure a respectful and enjoyable gaming environment for everyone involved.
